About IEU-International



Our University Foundation Programme (UFO) is designed for students who wish to enter an undergraduate Economics degree programme at a university, and who do not wish to take GCE A-Levels, SMA3 or equivalent High School degrees.
UFO prepares students for a course in Economics at university and provides the necessary skills for success at degree level. UFO is a fast-track programme that has been designed by the University of INDONUSA Esa Unggul in consultation with Heriot-Watt University in the UK for entry to an undergraduate degree course.
Students are provided both with specific knowledge of subjects related to the degree they wish to take at university and with essential study skills.

The Programme Structure
Students spend three academic terms on the University Foundation Programme. Successful students have direct access to the first semester of the Heriot-Watt Management Programme or are eligible for a place at many other international universities.
Each term takes 10 weeks and students study four subjects each term.

Term 2 (November - February)
Academic English for Business (2)
Preparation for TOEFL or IELTS test
Introduction to Economics
Presentation Skills
Term 3 (March - May)
Academic English for Business (3)
Introduction to Accounting and Finance
Mathematics for Computing and Business
Multicultural Studies
Final assessment is based on coursework, classroom attendance, and end-of-term examinations. Students are also required to complete additional coursework or homework that is set to be done in their own time outside of the classroom. Successful students are awarded with a certificate.
